The dye studio lets you explore how brush size, dye flow, colour and application tool affect a finished surface. It estimates coverage, the dye used, a colour evenness score and a suggested drying time, so you can choose an approach before touching a finished piece.

What you are looking at

The model is built from parametric geometry rather than a photographed object, which is why it responds instantly when you move a control. Distances are exaggerated so that a 2 mm change is visible on screen.
